| 2010! So many awesome things on deck... why can't they just be done, presto! More on that... Let me recap a bit... Last year I made a fun video for the fabulous Nicky Click. | Kids, let's jump forward a bit... I'm shooting a new short film on Jan. 16th & 17th. The piece is called, Faster. It is based on a short story of the same name written by Kirk Read. I've been describing, Faster as having a sex & drugs theme. Well, that's putting it mildly, very mildly... Kirk is an SF based writer and performer. He is an extremely talented boy with a hint of a sexy southern drawl. He's a good pal of mine too! I'm thrilled with this opportunity. We have another film project up our sleeves too. Another adaptation of his work, it's title: Dear Rick Hilton. Stay tuned, Hello! |

| I ventured into the "How to" video making world in 2009. I mean, Mr. Bunny and I have ventured into the "How to" video making world. How to Sign an Autograph can be seen HERE. "Autograph" is my new short film fav! Please also check out, How to make a boutonniere. I have a slew of other "How to" videos to create this year. |
| Last year also I met an art idol of mine, Pat Keck. Pat creates incredible spooky, weird, interesting and brilliant puppet sculptures/installations. She also has a couple of horses, of which I met, when I met her. The awesome news is Pat & I are working on a film project. I'll be casting some of her puppet creations in an upcoming film. Once again I will be tackling the story about my gay uncle. I am honored to be working with Pat and grateful to be able to give this story the attention and life it needs. | I had mentioned Michelle Tea's Valencia film project in my previous news update. The project continues to take shape in an amazing way. On board with the project now is, Margaret Cho, Jamie Babbit and Kimberly Pierce. Folks, if you don't know these women google them! I am so excited to work with Michelle in this capacity. I will be adapting chapter 13 from Valencia into a short film. Michelle Tea writes a great blog on the SFMOMA web site, she gave me a few shout outs recently. Check it out HERE. |

| My short film, Sucker is continuing to have a good screening run. In 2009 Sucker screened in Toronto, San Francisco, Portugal and Berlin. Sucker received a decent blurb in this SF Gay news rag, The Bay Times. Check it out HERE. My short film, The Face of God screened in an awesome film program in Los Angeles recently. The show was called, Beyond Drag. It was put together by Austin Young and Saskia Wilson-Brown. More information about the show can be found HERE. |
