Upon sight of a charming young man, one tranny has a vision of heaven. Walking about littered streets our tragic heroine, Ben McCoy comes face-to-face with illusions and fantasies of grandeur.

In an alleyway this boy-who-looks-like-a-girl spirals through spirituality, narcissism, capitalist consumerist longings and even day-dreams of getting married; all while dancing before some hot stud. Whether the male voyeur was a student of international law, or just hot trade; this love is blinding and binding..?

The climax leaves her pondering... Was he the face of god or just another frat boy?

co-star - Fred "Kasha" Simon

The Face of God brought me together again with the mega talented Ben McCoy. The film began as a performance piece, also written by Ben. Upon seeing Ben emote through this little ditty on stage, I knew it could be visually executed to perfection!

Ben and I discussed a plan, we set a shoot date. Ben went online at Fredrick’s of  Hollywood to order the wardrobe. We cast Kasha as the co-star. We then shaved Kasha’s chest and face and presto the film was born.

For Kasha’s wardrobe I hit the local AJ Wright to pick up the frat boy type clothing. Who knew AJ Wright would have the goods? Well the film budget was tight and AJ delivered. I snatched up a fancy scarf for $4.99. However on the day of the shoot it was nixed after Ben questioned whether or not a straight frat boy would wear such an accessory?

Personally I find the scarf an essential and non-gender or identity specific item of clothing. So now I wear the scarf, it is in my wardrobe collection. Let people say what they will.

Kasha fancied many of the articles of clothing, so after the shoot he left with most of them. Honestly he was in need of a new winter coat and this North Face jacket looks pretty snazzy. He cleans up well.

The film also brought me together again with the fabulous camerawoman Rhonda Moniz. Rhonda and I collaborated on my last film, Love is Blind. David M. Young also showcased his masterful production and co-producer skills yet again. Thanks to all for your fierce work.

The film was shot on location in East Boston, MA. The film has a 2 person cast.
